How working together works
These policies cover requests, deposits, scheduling, touch-ups and appointments. How your information is handled is described separately in the Privacy Policy.

Tattoo-request review
Every tattoo starts with a request through the Tattoo Quote form. I read and review each request personally to understand your idea, placement, size and references, and to make sure the project is a good fit for my style.
Because I review everything myself, please allow up to 14 business days for a reply. If a project isn’t the right fit, I’ll let you know honestly — it usually means the style or subject isn’t what I focus on, and it’s never personal.
A request is not an appointment
Submitting the Tattoo Quote form is a request for me to review. It is not a booking, it does not hold a date or open a calendar, and it does not guarantee that I can take the project. Booking and scheduling happen only after I’ve reviewed and approved your request.
Style and project fit
I specialise in fine-line, black-ink tattoos with a soft, delicate feel. I take on work that suits that style and decline work that doesn’t, so that every piece is something I can do well.
Projects I accept
Fine-line black ink: florals and botanicals, delicate script and lettering, dainty symbols, soft ornamental work, matching tattoos, small meaningful pieces, and larger designs that stay soft and fine.
Projects I don’t accept
Color, realism, portraits, traditional, neo-traditional, tribal, watercolor, mandalas, cover-ups, and heavy or dark bold-line work. I also don’t tattoo eyelids, inner lips, ears, palms or soles, and I won’t tattoo anything hateful or offensive.
Pricing and the studio minimum
The studio minimum is $120. Pricing depends on the size, detail and placement of your piece; I’ll confirm pricing with you as part of reviewing and approving your request.
Deposit
A $50 deposit is required to book. The deposit is non-refundable and is applied toward the cost of your tattoo.
When the deposit is collected
The deposit is collected after I’ve approved your request and we’re ready to book — not when you submit the Tattoo Quote form.
Cancellation
If you cancel your appointment, the deposit is forfeited. Because the deposit is non-refundable, please be sure of your plans before booking.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice, and your deposit will transfer to the new date. With enough notice, the deposit may also be transferred to another person.
A change made inside 48 hours of your appointment may forfeit the deposit and require a new deposit to rebook. Same-day rescheduling forfeits the deposit.
Late arrival
Please arrive on time, and no more than about 10 minutes early. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule, and the deposit may be forfeited.
No-show
If you don’t show up for your appointment, the deposit is forfeited.
Age and identification
You must be 18 or older to be tattooed. I don’t tattoo minors, including with a parent or guardian’s permission. Please bring valid government-issued photo identification; it may be required before your appointment.
Design and placement approval
Your design, size and placement are confirmed together before your appointment so we’re aligned on the piece before any tattooing begins.
Preparing for your appointment
Come well-rested, having eaten and hydrated, and wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement area. I’ll share any specific preparation details when we confirm your appointment.
Health and safety
For your safety and mine, I may decline or stop a session if it isn’t safe to proceed — for example, due to certain skin conditions in the area, intoxication, or other health and safety concerns. If that happens, I’ll talk it through with you.
Aftercare
I’ll go over how to care for your tattoo at your appointment. Aftercare information I provide is general guidance, not medical advice, and it isn’t a substitute for care from a medical professional. For any sign of infection or a medical concern, please contact a healthcare provider.
Touch-ups
Touch-ups apply to my own work only and require a clear photo of the fully healed tattoo so I can assess it. A complimentary touch-up is available if you reach out and book within two months of your original appointment. After two months, a touch-up fee may apply.
High-fade placements
Some placements — such as hands, fingers and feet — naturally fade faster and may need touch-ups sooner. Touch-ups on these high-fade areas may not be complimentary, and a fee may apply.
Changes and additions versus touch-ups
A touch-up restores existing healed work. Adding to a design, changing it, reworking it, or covering up other work is new work, not a touch-up — please send a new request so I can review it. Reworks are considered case by case.
Traveling clients
I’m glad to work with clients traveling to Rochester. Please include your available dates in your request so we can plan around your trip.
Response time
I read every request myself and aim to reply within up to 14 business days. If you haven’t heard back in that time, you’re welcome to follow up through the Contact form.
Private uploads
Any images you upload with your request — references, and an optional placement photo when it’s helpful — are stored privately. They aren’t publicly or anonymously accessible, I view them through a secure, signed-in system, and they’re never attached to emails. Images are kept and deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Image review versus publication
Sending images for private review helps me plan your tattoo. It does not give permission to publish them. I’ll always ask separately if I’d ever like to share a photo of finished work.
Using the site and forms
Please use the Tattoo Quote and Contact forms as intended, and don’t upload explicit images, identification documents, financial information, or unrelated files. New tattoo ideas should go through the Tattoo Quote form; the Contact form is for other questions.
Changes to these policies
These policies may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies. Any details specific to your project are confirmed with you directly when we book.
