The Process

From a quiet idea to a tattoo that lasts

Every tattoo starts as a request, not a booking. Here’s how it works — you send your idea, I review it personally for fit, you hear back within up to 14 business days, and if we’re a match we confirm the details, take the deposit, and schedule your session.

How it works

How the Tattoo Quote works

  1. Submit your request

Start with the Tattoo Quote form — share your idea, placement, approximate size and a few reference images.

  2. Paulina reviews the project

I read every request myself and review it for fit. Nothing is auto-booked, and acceptance isn’t guaranteed.

  3. Receive a response

I aim to reply within up to 14 business days with pricing, timing and fit guidance — or an honest no if it isn’t the right project for me.

  4. Confirm the details

If we’re a fit, we confirm your design, size and placement together before anything is booked.

  5. Pay the deposit

A $50 deposit — non-refundable and applied to your tattoo’s cost — is collected after approval to hold your booking.

  6. Schedule the appointment

Once the deposit is in, we set your appointment date.

  7. Prepare for your session

Come rested and hydrated, and wear something that gives easy access to the placement. I’ll share any specifics when we book.

Before you send

What to include in your request

The more I can picture your idea, the better I can review it. You don’t need everything perfect — a clear starting point is plenty.

  • Your idea
  • Placement
  • Approximate size (in inches)
  • The style or feeling you’re after
  • A few reference images

For some placements, an optional photo of the area helps me plan the fit. Only add one if it’s relevant — and please keep faces and other people out of frame.

After you submit

What happens next

Sending the form is a request for me to review — it doesn’t hold a date, open a calendar, or guarantee I can take the project.

I review every request personally for fit and aim to reply within up to 14 business days. There’s no separate consultation appointment; your idea, size, placement and references are all reviewed through the form first.

If you haven’t heard back within that window, you’re welcome to follow up through the Contact form.

Booking

Deposit & scheduling

Booking and the deposit happen only after I’ve approved your request. The $50 deposit is non-refundable and applies to the cost of your tattoo; scheduling follows approval.

The full rules — rescheduling, late arrivals, no-shows and touch-ups — live on the Policies page.
